3 BIG marketing campaign mistakes you should avoid.
Published in 04 de octubre de 2013Launching a truly successful email marketing campaign isn't easy at all. Did you know that email marketing content decides whether you win or lose a client? In a matter of seconds your readers decide whether to stay or leave the website. This decision is based on the first impression, therefore you should make sure your website is well structured and contains valuable text.
Take a look below at 3 very common mistakes made during campaign creation:
- Not Setting Goals
- Not making information clear/using wrong fonts.
If readers can not understand your message, your email marketing campaign will fail. Whatever you are launching, do not forget to include all details that your recipients need to know about. Lack of relevant information (or too general information) will not help you achieve your goals. Do not describe your company in the campaign content, but give the readers what they want – benefits!
You also need to remember about using right fonts. There are campaigns out there that fail because of their fonts being in hard to read color or simply too small (or too big – Caps Lock). It is certainly a better idea to use simple text font and color rather than create a message that your contacts will not be able to read.
- Content and its colors
The same advice applies to colors. When it comes to create a creative email marketing content you need harmony and balance. Many professionals simply exaggerate and write: a very long and misleading content, or text with too much information. By doing so, you will be simply losing readers that could turn into potential customers. When you are in doubt, simply ask some of your friends or collegues for the honest opinion before sending the campaign.
